I send you Love and Blessings from the Heart of Now!
I'd like to thank you all for inspiring this NowsLetter.
It is truly your love and willingness to manifest this New civilization
that is the impetus for this communication.

I'd like to talk today about a popular concept called "making a difference."

Wisdom tells me that in order to make a difference in the world,
I must first make a difference in my OWN life.
The idea of changing the world is probably one of the oldest concepts.
Someone asked Nisargadatta Maharaj, one of the most well known Indian Advaita teachers:
"Why is the world in such a mess?"
He replied, "The world is the way it is because
people are the way they are."

One of my favorite Vedic sutras says: "The world is as you are."
This seems pretty simple and clear. Have you noticed that when you were are
in love, everything seems wonderful? You love everyone, you feel great,
people are nice to you. Conversely, when frustration or anger arises,
when things don't go the way the mind/ego wants it to, the entire
creation seems empty and lonely. What happened to the beautiful world?
Where could it go?

The simple answer is that this world out there is really NOT out there!
It all arises from within our own consciousness and then is reflected
back to us in complete and utter precision from the Great Mystery.
With this equation the importance of our personal awakening it terms of this
projected universe, seems obvious. This awareness, once realized, can
lead to profound liberation of the individual "I" concept.

As Buddha said "No self, No problem." The self he was referring to is
also known as the "little me," or "fictitious self." This awareness is
critical to peace within our own lives which is reflected by peace on
Earth. When you support nature, nature will support you.

As we have been told, the Kingdom of Heaven is within. Conversely, the
Kingdom of Misery is also within. So before we try to make a difference,
let's become the change we want to see in the world through first
changing ourselves, our own lives.

To be present, to unconditionally allow what is already arising is
called acceptance. This non resistant awareness gives rise to deep peace
and an experience of innerconnectedness with life.
This unified state is natural and the birthright of all of humanity.

The experience of separation must be taught and is held in place by fear.
So if we are looking to the linear fear based ego/mind for truth,
this is like looking for produce in the hardware store
- not going to find it there!

Quantum physics reveals through the lens of science what the ancients
have always spoken of and embodied in their cultures. The observation of
the interconnected and interdependence of all of life in every movement.
One word that describes it beautifully is simply to call it "Totality."

So be the change in your world you'd like to see, make a difference in
your own life first, and when enough of us live this way it is called
Heaven on Earth. As a great master once said:
"The fictitious self is who you thought you were, when you forgot that you were love."

*This NowsLetter is dedicated to my first master Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.
Maharishi cast off his mortal coil yesterday (Feb 6, 2008, Yellow Magnetic Star)
in Amsterdam...Maharishi was one of the world's greatest pioneers of consciousness.
He will be forever remembered for his groundbreaking work in the recognition of
Quantum Physics and the Super Radiant effect of group consciousness,
also known as the Maharishi Effect. Maharishi tirelessly served this
Universe for more than 70 years. Maharishi has now merged with the
unmanifested consciousness and he will forever appear in the hearts of
his devotees as waves of Brahmanandam - (Bliss).
He has given us the task to continue his work towards world peace.
